H2Engineering was hired to provide MEPF design for structural, electrical, fire alarm, and fire protection upgrades and improvements to FAMU’s Bragg Memorial Stadium. These improvements included the complete replacement of the west side seating/bleachers, new ADA ramps and stairs, and new lighting in the concourse. In addition, power and plumbing were provided for the new pre-fabricated press box, a new elevator was installed, and a new fire system and sprinkler service were provided to meet current codes. In preparation for the next phase of work, our team completed preliminary design for ADA upgrades to the existing restroom and concessions, and all associated utilities. The improvements provided seating for 20,000 and were fast-tracked for completion in time for the next football season to start.
