This project involved the renovation of a 250-seat lecture hall at the University of Florida. Upgrades included new lighting, ceiling-mounted devices, communications cabling, and a modern classroom audiovisual system. The work transformed an aging space into a high-tech environment that supports the evolving instructional needs of the College of Journalism. A key challenge was routing power beneath the existing sloped floor for the new powered seating, and H2Engineering developed a cost-effective solution that minimized demolition to both the floor and ceiling systems.
