This project consisted of the renovation and addition to the existing Career Connections Center at the J. Wayne Reitz Union on the University of Florida’s main campus. The Center provides individualized career education and connections in preparation for life after graduation. The new Career Connections Center is a 28,940 SF facility serving 52,000 students and alumni. Nearly doubling the existing 15,400 SF facility, the Center infills over 9,500 SF of open space around the existing first floor and incorporates over 4,500 SF of dedicated space on the ground floor, unified by a new interior connecting staircase. The facility received LEED Gold certification FROM the U.S. Green Building Council.
