Project Overview

H2Engineering was the MEP design firm for the design-build of two Public Safety Centers for Sumter County near The Villages and the City of Bushnell. The Villages Public Safety Center is a 2-story, 49,500 SF structure that houses the Sheriff’s Nothern headquarters, a 750 SF data center, an emergency operation center, and an emergency management dispatch center. The EMS serves as the primary 911 and Fire/EMS dispatch and call center for the County. The Bushnell Public Safety Center is a 2-story, 24,800 SF facility that serves as a backup 911 and Fire/EMS dispatch and call center for the Wildwood facility. It houses the Sheriff’s Southern office and serves as a backup for all other services.
