H2Engineering, Inc. (H2E), founded in 1977 as Hines, Hartman & Associates, is a Florida-based mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering consulting firm. We started by serving the North Florida market, but over the years, we’ve expanded our services nationwide to meet the evolving needs of our clients and the industry. In 2008, we rebranded to H2Engineering, Inc., reflecting our commitment to innovation while honoring our roots. We’ve built a reputation for exceptional service through strong client relationships, believing that project success is directly linked to the collaborative efforts and knowledge of our team.
Under the leadership of principals Matt Scaringe, Ryan Chewning, Scott Drury, and Scott Craig, we remain dedicated to the core values established by our founding partner, Mike Hartman. With our headquarters in Tallahassee and offices in Fort Walton Beach, Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Pensacola, we offer a variety of engineering services. These include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, as well as commissioning, technology design, and construction services.
We’ve successfully completed projects across various sectors, including higher education, K-12, corrections, judicial, healthcare, public safety, utility infrastructure, and office buildings. Our team of over 40 professionals includes a registered fire protection engineer, certified Commissioning Authorities (CxA), LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED AP BD+C), and a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). We’re proficient in promoting the design, construction, and operation of buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. We’re equipped to manage large, complex projects and adhere to demanding schedules while providing personalized attention to even the smallest projects.
