Description
This project included the design of the new headquarters for the Florida Department of Revenue. The project was comprised of a 47 acre campus with three buildings: an 100,000 SF two-story call center and two prototype five-story, 200,000 SF office buildings. The project included a central fitness area and a café as well as generous training/conferencing facilities. The design uses extensive open plan offices and all working space is on raised access floor.
The project was awarded with a LEED-NC Gold Certification, a first for the Department of Management Services as part of its commitment to high performance buildings and sustainable design and construction.
