This project involved replacing aging electrical gear including a standby generator, main switchboard, distribution panels, and panelboards throughout a multi-story 60,000 SF building. The Gemini building houses employees who perform critical billing and call center services for the City of Tallahassee Utilities. The building had aging, obsolete electrical equipment, partial standby generator power, and various electrical code issues. H2Engineering provided a natural gas generator to power the entire building and downsize the size of the electrical service which helped eliminate the need to modify electrical room sizes, minimize electrical outages, and allow room for future growth.
