Description
This project consisted of major renovations to approximately 20,000 GSF of existing space in a historic bank building located in downtown Tallahassee, FL. This renovated facility creates a collaborative learning environment to conduct research and develop entrepreneurial opportunities and processes for the Jim Moran Institute and the Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship.
Spaces constructed are for collaboration, events, programs, maker spaces, presentation spaces, reception/gallery, meeting rooms, administrative, and building support functions. The facility accommodates faculty, students, and staff in an effort to connect them with entrepreneurial mentors in a creative and flexible environment.
H2Engineering provided design for all new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. This included rooftop packaged VAV units and new controls, a new sprinkler system, building lighting, power distribution, emergency generator, lightning protection, and fire alarm systems.
