Insurance Benefits & Options
Single and family coverage is available starting the first of the month following the date of hire. H2Engineering covers the premium for the employee. Dependent coverage is available at the employee’s expense.

Permanent employees are provided life insurance benefits. Long-Term Disability Permanent employees are provided long-term disability benefits.
Supplemental insurance benefits are available to permanent employees at the employee’s expense.
Permanent employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees may begin participating under the plan the earlier of the first day of the year or the first day of the seventh month. Matching contributions are based on employee contributions and overall company profitability.
Employees receive profit sharing contributions based on company profitability proportionally distributed in relation to employee salary. Employees must have completed 1,000 work hours to be eligible.
Employees may receive bonuses based on overall company profitability and employee’s productivity, ability to meet deadlines, ability to handle larger workloads, willingness to contribute and respond to a crisis situation, client perceptions, ability to complete work with minimum supervision, evidence of improving skills, education, overall team player, etc.

Flexible Work Hours
To help you balance your career with the rest of your life, we also offer flexible work schedules. You can vary your daily arrival time within limits established by management.
Friday Afternoons Off
Employees are scheduled to work a standard 40-hour week. The standard work week consists of 9-hour work days on Monday through Thursday, and a 4-hour Friday morning.
Friday Casual Dress Day
Employees are allowed to dress business casual on Fridays.
New hires are eligible for 10 days (2 weeks) vacation based on the number of hours worked. After completing 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service, the employee will receive 12, 15, 17, and 20 days of vacation, respectively.
New hires are eligible for 40 hours (1 week) sick leave based on the number of hours worked.
Employees receive the following paid holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (Thursday and Friday), and Christmas Day.
Other Paid Time Off
H2Engineering follows a competitive practice in allowing time off for a death in the immediate family, jury duty, military leave, and time for voting.
Expense Reimbursement The company covers the expenses for renewing the employee’s professional licenses and for continuous education credits and seminars.
