My time as an intern gave me the skills and knowledge to become the engineer that I wanted to be. I was taught that everything needs to be done with maximum effort and attention to detail no matter the size of the project. From the beginning, I was treated as part of the team and not just another intern, for me that made it an easy choice to join the H2E family full time when given the opportunity.
As an intern, I was here to learn about the company and see the inner workings of this sector of industry. H2E provided an excellent opportunity for me to glimpse into the life of being an engineer in their company. I was not here to merely get coffee or make copies, they allowed me the opportunity to be involved with the design process, learn the information that is not taught in school, and get my hands on some real-world experience. After a year of internship, it was only too easy to accept the job offer as graduation approached and feel confident that I would be satisfied with my new career.
